Oklahoma's education system is now failing itself! Most high school seniors in this state can't satisfy all 4 educational benchmarks. A large percentage don't even have the ACT scores to qualify for our state's regional schools, much less the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. Nobody wants to admit it. Our kids will do better in school, when Oklahoma does better by its kids! Physically and emotionally healthy kids learn. Kids living in poverty, living in threatening situations, being sexually used by adults, living with drug addicted parents--those don't learn nearly as well.
But linda, you're not playing along with the right wing here!! They want to blame the educational system and ignore the underlying societal problems.
