Much talk has circled over the past year around the state capitol on what to do with gang violence. There have been talks of setting up local steering committees to work with police to help bring down gang involvement in local areas. We want to know what you think! How should Oklahoma attempt to bring down crime? What steps and measures would you take to keep our streets safe? Let us know today by submitting your idea at www.100ideasok.org/submitidea.aspx.

The Oklahoma City Diet
You may have heard recently of Oklahoma City's new diet. Mick Cornett, mayor of Oklahoma City, wants the city to lose 1 million pounds in 2008. We want to know what you think? Do you like these kinds of initiatives and think they put a city on the right track, or do you think it's a waste of money as the government shouldn't be telling us what to do? Please stop by and leave your ideas on city initiatives today!

Fire Safety in Oklahoma
Every year we are reminded that we live in a state with some of the most volatile weather in the country. Inevitably there will be times, like last year, that we have 21 straight days of rain. Still other times we'll go a month without seeing any precipitation and the entire state will be in a fire watch.

What's your agenda?
As we enter 2008, we are reminded all that Oklahoma accomplished in 2007. We at 100 Ideas believe that one of the greatest things accomplished in our centennial year was the creation of a blueprint, for Oklahoma, by Oklahomans.
