Fire Safety in Oklahoma

Every year we are reminded that we live in a state with some of the most volatile weather in the country. Inevitably there will be times, like last year, that we have 21 straight days of rain. Still other times we'll go a month without seeing any precipitation and the entire state will be in a fire watch.


One idea, aimed at reducing fire danger, is being proposed by a state lawmaker. The legislation he has proposed would call for cigarette paper that burns out easily to be for every cigarette sold in Oklahoma. We want to know what you think of this idea and others that would affect public safety.
